Despite existing for only a brief time and growing organically, with users discovering us mostly by word of mouth (give or take several interviews), NFTfi has already seen significant community growth and 743.45 ETH in loan volume at time of writing.
Time to whip out the big guns.
We’ve been hard at work closing business deals and taking care of bureaucratic necessities that you need not know about yet but WILL know about soon, all of which will lead to the development of the NFTfi platform we are envisioning and will now have the resources to create.

Four winners will receive either 100 $DAI OR an awesome NFT. But much like the Schrödinger’s cat experiment, you won’t know which you’re getting right away 🔄
Huh? What? Exactly.
That’s because the prizes in this giveaway are four NFTfi Promissory Notes. For a full explanation of what those are and how they power NFTfi, see the NFTfi Promissory Notes article here.
We gave out four 0% loans of 100 $DAI, each against a different NFT as collateral, and received in exchange 4 promissory notes. It’s those promissory notes we will give away as prizes. By the end of the loan term, the holders of each note will receive either the loan+interest (in this case 100 $DAI since interest was 0%) or will be able to collect the NFT, depending on whether each loan is repaid or defaulted by the original borrower.
Either way, the winners of these notes are in for a treat. Let’s see what NFTs were used as collateral.

Promissory Note #368: 100 $DAI backed by CryptoKitties #1979065 (Lulu Sleepymuffin)

Both his digital works and physical prints are legendary. “Dr Satoshi’s Orange Pill” is one of his most famous pieces, which he minted in separate editions for various languages representing the accessibility that is Bitcoin. This cryptoart NFT is minted on Known Origin.

Promissory Note #370: 100 $DAI backed by tokenized domain SportsTokens.crypto
The bummer about regular DNS domains is that like many non-blockchain, non-tokenized virtual assets, they are governed by a central authority that can just shut you down. What’s worse is that you need to renew payment on the domain every so often. Even the official blockchain domains of the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) force you to renew and therefore you are only renting the domain at any given time.
Unstoppable Domains chose to do things the “blockchain way”. Domains ending in .crypto are minted on Ethereum — you pay for them once and own them forever. Resolving such domains is as easy as installing the UD extension in your web browser and boom — you are surfing the decentralized web.
As far as the name is concerned, the immense success of NBA TopShot is just the beginning. Dapper Labs seems to already be working on UFC and who knows what else is in store. A tokenized domain such as SportsTokens.crypto is as valuable as ever.

The winner of Promissory Note #371 will be able to claim this Avastar with LEGENDARY-level background color from the smartcontract if the borrower defaults on the loan — otherwise they’ll receive 100 $DAI. #FTW.
